Don’t know where to go to purchase supplies and equipment?

For purchasing most winemaking supplies and equipment, we recommend doing business with the following area Home Wine Supply stores. For those home winemakers in need of supplies or equipment fast or last-minute, we can many times help you out with yeast, tartaric acid, potassium metabisulphite powder (aka, sulfite), carboys, fermentation containers, airlocks, bungs, corks, crusher/destemmer, press, etc. Just let us know and we’ll do what we can to assist you.

Pacific Brewing Supplies

240 S San Dimas Ave, San Dimas, CA 91773
(800) 448-2337

There is a newer business in San Dimas, Pacific Brewing Supplies, that carries a selection of home winemaking supplies. We have heard good things about them, George has met their owner, and they seem to be great folks. We look forward to visiting their storefront someday soon. Find them at 240 S. San Dimas Ave. No website yet, but you can find them on FaceBook, et. al.

There is a great place in northern L.A. County that has been around a long time. The Home Wine, Beer, and Cheesemaking Shop is located in Woodland Hills and has been a long-time supporter of home winemakers in that area. You can find them at 22836 Venture Blvd, Woodland Hills. Their website (which you cannot order from) is www.WineBeerCheese.com.

The Vintner Vault

27941 Diaz Rd, Temecula, CA 92590
(951) 587-8900
www.TheVintnerVault.com

If you live in the Temecula area, you might visit The Vintner’s Vault, located at 27941 Diaz Rd in Temecula, not far from Old Town. They have a huge showroom and cater to both home winemakers and the area wineries. They are good, knowledgeable folks whom we highly recommend. You can also see them online at www.TheVintnerVault.com. Unfortunately, they don’t offer a discount or free shipping but they have good pricing and a bit larger inventory than other stores.

*Since we do a fair amount of business with the above retailer, we can also pick up supplies and equipment for you, which you can later pick up from our winery. Just let us know and we will take care of it for you – for a small fee.

MoreBeer/MoreWine

1506 Columbia Ave, Riverside, CA 92507
(951) 779-9971
www.MoreWineMaking.com
Mention “George Walker” for 10% OFF

If you live in or around the Inland Empire, a personal visit to MoreBeer/MoreWine, located at 1506 Columbia Ave in Riverside, makes a great little outing. The staff there are friendly and helpful. The store manager, Rob, has been a great colleague of ours for many years. If you visit the store and mention George Walker’s name, they will give you 10% off your purchase. You can also view their supplies and equipment online at www.MoreWineMaking.com. Unfortunately, you can’t get the 10% discount through their website. You have to go to the Riverside store for that. However, online shipping is free for eligible purchases over $59. That’s a nice deal, too.

*Since we do a fair amount of business with the above retailer, we can also pick up supplies and equipment for you, which you can later pick up from our winery. Just let us know and we will take care of it for you – for a small fee.

Oak Barrels

Oak Barrels

Available in many sizes from 1 liter (that’s tiny!) to 59 gallons. French, Hungarian, and American – usually fired at medium-plus toast, the industry standard for aging wine. We typically recommend the latter two, as they are usually the easiest to find and cost much less than their French cousin, although we do have access to re-coopered barrels that come in different sized versions, usually 5, 10, 15, and 30 gallon and 59 gallon. Call for availability and pricing.

Specialty Bottles

Specialty Bottles

You name it and we can probably get it. From large format bottles that hold the equivalent of two regular bottles (750ml) or more, to the largest that holds as many as twenty bottles of wine! Small format bottles come in 500ml and 375ml sizes are also available. Call for availability and pricing.

High Grade Corks

High Grade Corks

We already use good grade corks that will protect your wine from 3-5 years if cellared properly. Usually longer than that. However, there are higher-quality corks that will protect those wines that you plan to hold onto and perhaps pass down through generations. Interested in these higher grade corks? Call us.
